Follow our step-by-step guide down below to help you get the most out of your courses.
For readings not in E-Reserves, scroll down to read our guide on accessing all other online course readings.
Step 1: To access your online course readings, please navigate to the Sueltenfuss Library's homepage (library.ollusa.edu/library). If you are off-campus, it is highly recommended that you login first using the link located below the One Search bar, or on the top right of our homepage header.

Step 2: Once logged in, select the Course Readings link below the One Search Bar.

Step 3: From the Course Readings page, select the Online Course Readings button.

Step 4: Following the link will take you to a new page titled "E-Reserves". Courses are organized by tabs. You can search for your course by course name and number, instructor (if designated), term, and subject*.

*Note: The E-Reserves landing page defaults to the subject view. Students can select their appropriate department and all available courses for that department will be listed (Example above: Counseling).
Step 5: Select your course. Once you select the link to the course, a new page will open asking you to enter your course password. Your course password is the course number (Ex. "6325" of SOWK 6325).

Enter the password and select "Go".
Step 6: Most course readings will be listed either alphabetically or in corresponding folders that refer to the course calendar in your syllabus. Individual folders can be selected and opened or all folders can be expanded to display all readings for the course (See highlighted text).

Selecting the reading will result in a pop-up item description and the corresponding reading will be hyperlinked allowing you to open and save the reading file. Select the “Close” button to exit the course reading description.

If you don't see course readings in your E-Reserves course, follow this step-by-step guide to access them through the library's One Search bar.
Step 1: Locate your reading list. This may be a document uploaded to the course content in your Blackboard course, may be located in your syllabus, or may be included in discussion posts. If you can't find it, contact your instructor for further assistance.
Step 2: Copy title of reading. If your readings are in a document, it should look something like this:

Step 3: Paste the title into the One Search bar on the library homepage and click the magnifying glass to search.

Step 4: Locate article in search results. You should check that the title, authors, and publication date all match what's listed in your reading list. Once you're certain, click "View Full Text" to access the reading. You can download the reading as a PDF after accessing the full text.

If you encounter any difficulties in accessing your course readings, you can contact the library through LibChat on our library homepage, by phone locally, 210-431-5575 or toll-free,1-800-846-4085, or by email at library@ollusa.edu.
