Checking Out Materials

Checking Out Materials

Books and DVDs from the library's general collection can be checked out by current OLLU students, faculty, staff, and alumni. CDP members and TexShare users can also check out materials by getting a library card issued at the circulation desk. Journals, newspapers, and items in Reference or Special Collections cannot be checked out.

Users can check out books for the following time periods. You can renew a checkout, if allowed, by logging in to your library account and renewing the item there, or by calling the library at 1-800-846-4085 on or before the due date. To request a print book or article, just log in to Get It 4 Me and fill in the required information for your request. Houston, RGV, and online students MUST specify a pickup location (“mail to my home address”) in the request form.
