Getting Physical Materials

Online and Distance students at OLLU have access to the same research materials that students on campus have access to. In addition to Get It 4 Me and TexShare, the OLLU library will mail books to your home for FREE along with pre-paid return postage. You just mail them back to us when you're done!

Print Books & Articles

If you find a book in our catalog, or an article that we have in print, we will send them to you for FREE! We will mail print books to your home along with pre-paid return postage, which you can keep for up to one month with renewals. Or we will scan a copy of a print article and send it to your email.

To request a print book or article, just log in to Get It 4 Me and under New Request, select Other (Free Text). Fill in the required information and we will send you what you need.

Get It 4 Me

Online and Distance students can also request items the OLLU library doesn't have, by submitting a Get It 4 Me request. If you find a book or article that you need but OLLU doesn't have a copy, just fill out the request in Get It 4 Me, our Interlibrary Loan system, and we'll find a library that has a copy and get it for you! We will mail books to your home, or send a scanned PDF copy of an article to your email.

TexShare

OLLU students, including Online and Distance students, can also borrow books from other libraries. With the TexShare Program you can get a library card that will allow you to borrow books from other libraries throughout Texas. Email the library to find out how to get your TexShare card.
